About us

Plast – organization of Ukrainian scouts in Poland accounts for more then 200 active members of different age. We are part of worldwide organization, which has more then 10 thousand members and has members in 18 countries on all continents.

Organization was founded in 1911  and renewed it’s activity in Poland in 1989.

The aim of Plast is to bring up good citizen and leader of society. Today we face numerous challenges as Poland in the closest to Ukrainian border and children and youth require help, who are our target audience.

This summer, together with ZHR, ZHP and WAGGGS, and also with support of UNICEF we ensured organization or nearly 90 camps for nearly 2000 Ukrainian children. To get most up-to-date information about our activities you may follow our Facebook page here.

We have also initiated and opened “Ukrainian domivka” (“domivka” – Ukrainian word meaning “home”) – safe place for children and their parents from Ukraine in Polish city of Lublin. One more important direction of our works is supplying of humanitarian aid to most impacted by war regions of Ukraine and supplementing of Ukrainian Armed forces with needed equipment. Together with ZHR and ZHP we had opened points of collection of this aid in 14 cities. We are closely cooperating with “Support for Ukraine in Europe” in this direction, who organized big storage facility and logistical center for sending aid to Ukraine.

Permanent humanitarian needs: food with a long shelf life, hygiene products for adults and children, basic medicines, fuel for transporting these items, and warehouse rental.
